Sometimes, like today I just wish to elope somewhere.. somewhere far away from the daily masking of the happiness I no longer feel but have to put up for the ones I am living with, I am interacting with, daily.. Immediate family, friends, colleagues & sometimes myself. Why do we do this, masking happiness, faking humour? Is it because the people around us would get upset that we are not happy, particularly not happy without a specific reason? Or is it just that we are being hypocrites? Or is it our inability to accept ourselves the way we are? What is it that forces us to just shut all the doors to the world outside and just elope somewhere? Elope to a place where nobody knows us, where we do not have to fake our happiness. To a place that is calm and serene. Just elope for sometime to regain & restore our sanity which is needed to get going with the usual life. But, we often do not get to have such breaks! Is this because we come across to severe and cruel insanity or
